Littler’s Executive Employer® Conference features the latest developments in labor and employment law.

On Wednesday afternoon, preconference sessions highlight the evolution of diversity and inclusion initiatives, our current take on international employment law trends and the emerging issues associated with the changing global workforce.

Our Thursday main conference sessions will address a range of substantive issues, including:

  • Increased state and local restrictions on salary history inquiries and other limits on background checks
  • Updates on labor policies under the Trump administration
  • Navigating compliance challenges under the ADA, FMLA and state laws while managing employees with opioid and other substance addictions
  • Final preparations for the impending effective date of the EU’s new General Data Protection Regulation
  • The latest pay equity efforts on the state level and what employers can do to prepare

On Friday, we are bringing back a Littler tradition – the Littler Clinics. The clinics will be open for two and a half hours on Friday morning so you can make appointments or stop by to ask Littler attorneys for advice on how to handle compliance challenges you may currently be facing or ask follow-up questions specific to your business that you did not ask during the regular sessions. Also on Friday, interactive sessions will present realistic scenarios that cover the hard questions faced daily by employers. These interactive gatherings will feature role playing, live actors and more on topics such as:

  • Conducting lawful and privileged investigations and effectively assessing employee truthfulness
  • Training managers so they can help mitigate litigation risks in their day-to-day operations
  • Successfully navigating through crises from hurricanes, fires and other natural disasters
  • Accommodating service animals both in the workplace and in places of public accommodation
  • Identifying a company’s rights and remedies when a whistleblower steals confidential company information

Our custom Executive Employer mobile app will be your source for information about the conference, sessions, presenters, materials, on-site announcements, and much more. Details on how to download the app will be provided to registered attendees closer to the conference date.
